Happy November! What a crazy Fall so far, none of us know how to dress! Somedays its cold enough for the winter jacket and a scarf, and then the next it's t-shirt weather, go figure! Well as the temperature drops, we will be rolling out more and more events each month focused on community and giving. To start, we are proud to announce our first annual RAKE & RUN!
For those of you on our tuition reminder list you have already gotten some preliminary information, so if you missed out here are some of the details...
Saturday, November 12th we will be going from house to house raking leaves for the residents of Palatine. If you know of elderly or individuals with disabilites that would benefit from our rake and run, please email us so we can coordinate what blocks we are going to. Other than that, all you need to volunteer is a rake!
We will meet at the studio at 11:00am, and be departing at 11:30am. We will rake until 2:00pm and then return to the studio for snacks and warm cider! If you are interested in participating we need volunteer drivers with SUVs, vans, or other vehicles that can transport groups of students to the locations we are serving. If you or your child is volunteering for driving or raking, then please email us at JamieLatuszek@borne2dance.com
We will also be hosting a Thanksgiving food drive this year with Journeys from PADS to HOPE - an update with more detailed information will be following shortly.
We hope to see you all out there!

Hey what's up everybody?! As you may have noticed, we have the beginnings of a new website! Thanks to Grandma at C-Money Custom Designs for the new layout!
So... Here are a few notable events coming up this month to mark your calendars with!
Halloween Costume Week! The week of October 24th is Costume Week at the studio, so feel free to bring your children in their costumes, or wear one of your own!
Studio Closings There are no dance or music classes on Monday, October 31st.
Thanksgiving Food Drive Be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet in the lobby this week for our first ever Thanksgiving Dinner Food Drive. There will be a list of items that you may sign up to donate that will help make a full thanksgiving dinner to be donated to a family in need. Check back for details on food donation dates and for ways you can help! Let's see how many dinners and families we can help this year!
Well, that's it for now! Hope you all are staying warm out there!
Peace!
