Welcome to Borne2Dance Inc., Music & Dance Center for The Arts!
We have been providing dance instruction to students and families of the Palatine/Northwest Suburb area for over 30 years. Formerly known as the Judith Forsberg Studio of Dance, we as a company have expanded our services and overall size throughout the years. In the past, we have primarily offered dance classes and specific instruction in several forms of dance. Today, we offer other products and services designed to appeal to other key demographics within the arts community. We are continuously growing and learning, equipping ourselves with the most knowledgeable and qualified teachers in the industry.
B2D really expanded it's horizons when Optimistic Music Company became partners with the studio, offering lessons and services to the music community.
Our goal as a company is to provide the best dance and music experience for anyone who steps foot within our doors. Borne2Dance to us is not only a business... but it is also a home. So when you join our studio, you become a part of our family!
Welcome home!

The largest portion of what makes us who we are, is our students and teachers. If you are already a member with us, you know just how truly wonderful they are. For those of you who do not know us, here are a few of the staff members here who make your experience magical!

| Miss Judy Forsberg: Co-Owner/Dance Teacher |
|
|
Judith Forsberg has taught dance for 32 years, encompassing a broad and articulated knowledge of several forms of dance. As the original owner of what has now become Borne2Dance, Judy has joined forces with Co-Owner Jamie Bilek to embrace the new changes within our center for the arts. Heavily influencing the Palatine dance scene, she has had the divine pleasure of working within several facets of the local dance and gymnastics programs; even working with the Palatine High School football team for 10 years as a ballet instructor to increase flexibility and stamina. A member of the Midwest Committee Cecchetti Ballet Council of America, Miss Judy has acquired a long list of conventions attended, as well as instructors studied with and under. A few of these include Delores Eller, June Rold, the legendary tap master Jimmy Payne, and the Evanston School of Ballet. She is married to John Forsberg, a retired Palatine firefighter, and they have four children together. They also currently live and reside in Palatine.

| Mr. Joe Latuszek/Owner of Optimistic Music Co. |
|
Mr. Joe has been a writer and musician since childhood, playing now for more than 10 years. He found his roots in Scottish and Latin rhythms and then expanded into string instruments. While collecting many competition awards along the way, Mr. Joe has competed in the notorious Pomona Open; a Scottish snare-drumming competition concentrating on stick technique and African "irrational rhythms". Joe has studied both independently and by the guidance of an instructor. His knowledge of music theory, music literature, and notation continue to increase while pursuing his education through Chicago-based Music Industry Workshop. Mr. Joe has also worked as a music teacher for many years. After creating his own company Inhouse Music, Mr. Joe found a new home at Borne2Dance where he is engaged to Miss Jamie Bilek. His band A Better Place To Be, and his solo project One Gun Firefly plays the Chicago venue circuit where they have experienced radio airplay on such stations as Chicago's very own 93.1 WXRT. You can find both projects on myspace.com under myspace.com/onegunfirefly and myspace.com/betterplacetobe. Mr. Joe and Miss Jamie live in Palatine with their obnoxious puppy, Charlie.
